Grief is a normal and natural response to loss.
We understand that grief comes in many forms and is unique to every individual. It can affect a person’s daily activities, routines, relationships, and the way someone lives.
Facing end-of-life issues or rebuilding a life after death can be one of the hardest things an individual, family, or loved one will experience.
We are here to help with that part of the process by offering grief care services to the community, free of charge.
GRIEF SUPPORT GROUPS
Our Grief Support Groups are for adults grieving the loss of a loved one. These groups provide a safe and supportive place to share grief experiences and develop coping strategies.
Groups are offered quarterly and typically run once a week for six weeks.
COMMUNITY REMEMBRANCE EVENTS
Remembering the lives of our loved ones in a ritual way may help when we are grieving. We offer multiple opportunities throughout the year for community members to gather and remember loved ones who have died.
GRIEF CARE FOR TEENS AND CHILDREN
Grief can be especially confusing and painful for children and teens. We offer individual sessions for families and children, as well as special events.
KIDS GRIEF CAMP
For children ages 6-16. Kids will experience the opportunity to spend time with other kids their own age who have faced a similar loss, share their experiences, and play and grow together. There is no charge for participants.
