Primary colors

Primary colors: The primary colors are Red, Blue and Yellow. These colors are primary because they all make another color, so this is why these colors are the primary colors.

Secondary colors

Secondary colors: the secondary colors are Green, Orange and Violet. Also secondary colors are colors resulting from the mixing of two primary colors.

Color addition:The production of various colors of light by mixing of the three primary colors (Red, Blue and Yellow) of light is known as color addition. So that mean you will be adding Cyan and Magenta. Cyan is another color of Red and Magenta is another color for Green. The color addition colors are Red , Magenta, Green , Yellow and Blue.

Color subtraction: Remember when mixing pigments, it is the colors that are subtracted that compound or accumulate. The subtract colors are Cyan and Magenta. Just like the addition colors and Blue stay the same.
