Design Template Categories Guidelines For Adobe Stock Contributors

As part of the metadata form, Adobe Stock template contributors must select a template category for each template submission.

The categories are ‘use-based’ to help customers discover templates they need based on the intended use. For example, if a customer will be able to apply the ‘social media’ filter to see a selection of social media sets.

Some categories have both a digital and screen version (such as Magazines), and some template types may not fit easily into a specific category (such as Books). To ensure that you are selecting the most accurate category and template type fields, look at these common examples of template types within each category.

Review our guidelines below to understand how to choose the appropriate template categories.

The new categories are organized into four sections:

Art and Illustration Template Categories: Templates intended as creative elements such as logos or pattern sets
Mobile, Screen, and Web Template Categories: Templates intended for screens and mobile such as digital magazines or social media sets.
Photo Template Categories: Templates intended only for use with photos such as collages or image effects.
Print Template Categories: Templates intended for print such as business cards, brochures, or multipage layouts.
