FOMPS

Huge thanks to the FOMPS team for putting together such a successful summer picnic event last weekend. It was great to see so many families here and we hope you had a lovely afternoon.

Junior Good Citizen

Year 6 had an amazing time at Junior Good Citizen. We learnt what to do in different situations and how to stay safe. Junior Good Citizen helped Y6 to understand the dangers that could happen in every-day life and how to stay safe.

They did this by putting us in what could become dangerous situations and showing us what might happen. They also showed us footage of dangerous things that people have done in the past to show potentially dangers. We participated in the following activities; understanding hate crime; animal care & dog safety, using train crossings safely, road safety and how to be safe with drugs and alcohol. We even entered a mock prison cell and investigated the dangers of dark alleys. We really enjoyed our experience and learning how to stay safe in a fun and engaging way.

Cotswold Wildlife Visit

On Thursday Otters and Hedgehogs had a brilliant visit to Costwold Wildlife Park. Our day started with a talk about African animals as this was one of our topics in class this year, and we then used the rest of the day to explore. We were so lucky to see so many incredible animals as they all wanted to come and say hello!
