To help us compare Benwell in the past to now we walked to the areas that we had studied in class. We were happy to see lots of buildings still there but also lots that had been demolished or changed.
In PSHE this week we discussed the different types of bullying. We looked at a film called ‘For the birds’ and discussed what they might be saying and what they could have said to be kinder.
In Science we looked at how the particles act in solids, liquids and gases. We then thought about what happened to them when a solid melted or a liquid froze. We demonstrated our knowledge in groups and then set up an experiment (in the snow!) to see if all liquids froze at the same temperature.
