Every Friday night, Metro Stars offers an open gym opportunity to the public. You sign a waiver and register and you can just walk right in!
People of all skill levels have an abundance of fun. You have free-range of all of the equipment, regardless if you know how to use it.
At open gym, you may think you’re an olympian. But if you look around, you’ll be mistaken. Some of the team members stay for extra practice and you’d be surprised by how amazing they are.
Before any gymnastics practice, you have to stretch. This little foam roller is a great way to stretch out your back.
A few of the dance team members went to open gym to work on some skills. Here you can see one of the members practicing her headstand.
It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Just make sure when you’re on the trampoline you stay in the center and not on the edge.
Overall, open gym is a great thing to try something new. If gymnastics isn’t your thing, then this is a judgment free where you can express your new found skills.
