Inc. today announced its fifth annual Female Founders 100 list, honoring a bold group of 100 women whose innovations and ideas are shaping the world into a better place. Collectively, the 2022 honorees’ companies are estimated to be worth more than $22 billion.
The founders cross all industries and bring with them unique stories of success from each stage of the entrepreneurial journey — from startup to going public, being acquired by big buyers, or spending decades at the helm of an organization. They are reinventing everything from shoes to food and are challenging issues like financial literacy and childhood education.
I am honored to have been chosen by Inc. magazine as a Top 100 Female Founder of 2022. My 15-year journey is not all about me, but rather about my team. Our strength, hard work, dedication, and patience in our commitment in helping school’s raise and keep the most funds with the best service in the industry. I look forward to the future and leading our team to more success milestones!" - Wendy Tibus
What Has Get Movin' Accomplished for Schools?
We’ve given schools the ability to raise and keep more than ever before.
We’re growing fast as we fill a void in school fundraising, and the numbers prove it. In 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, we still managed to help hundreds of schools raise millions nationwide. In 2021, we helped thousands of schools raise even more. Over the past 15 years, we have officially raised over $100 million for schools around the country (plus military schools!).
This success is all due to our online tools that are a game-changer in a post-COVID world, which has less cash and checks circulating, less manual operations and less product-based fundraising. In 2021 we received over 100 (5) Star Google reviews from clients, too!
Despite the challenges of COVID, we persevered. As our company President, Wendy had to figure out how we could continue to help schools be successful. Those lessons lead her and our team to building and adding many new features to our online platform, FundHub.
- Virtual tools like the Activity Counter allows students to log any activity for the fundraiser
- Uploading student videos for personalization
- Family webpages
- So much more
These all give students the ability to participate in their school fundraiser and continue to raise money via the safe, secure, and COPPA compliant online platform. Schools have changed and fundraising companies need to meet these new demands. With Get Movin', schools can give parents what they want and students what they need, such as the funds to provide new hand sanitizer stations, outdoor learning centers, air purification systems, and plenty more.
Honored to Be an Honoree!
Each year, Inc. editors review thousands of applications highlighting female founders who are challenging the status quo and tackling some of the world’s biggest problems. The list features women who have overcome challenges and lifted those around them, while leading impactful organizations across the country. They join the ranks of previous honorees including Jessica Alba, Tracee Ellis Ross, Rihanna, and Shonda Rhimes.
“These 100 female founders have identified solutions to difficult problems and created valuable, industry-changing companies out of them. We congratulate this year’s list on their achievements and look forward to their continued success." - Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk

About Get Movin' Fundraising
Get Movin' Fundraising helps schools raise money through healthy and educational event-based fundraisers like Fun Runs, Read-Athons, Dance-Athons, 5ks or Color Runs, etc. Our software platform, FundHub, paired with one of our expert coaches gives the school volunteers a turnkey approach to raising the most and keeping the most money (97% average profit!) at the end of their fundraiser.
All funds raised directly benefit the students school experience for that school year. We are owned and operated by former parent group volunteers, so we know our client’s needs and the best ways to help them with their challenges and how to reach their triumphs.
