Llansannor & Llanharry C/W Primary School

March 18th 2022

As we continue along our lenten journey, it seems the perfect time to reflect on our ever busy lives, and spend some time for ourselves.

In complete opposite to being on our own, these last weeks have given us, as a school community, the chance to come together. It has been simply wonderful!

We have experienced a sense of normality with a number of celebrations and events over the past few weeks.

I can not express how much we missed these and we are simply overjoyed that we can share together once more.

I hope you and your family are enjoying the new found freedom and the spring weather.

Love and Prayers,

Mrs Davies

COVID-19

Forgiveness

'Just as the Lord has forgiven you so you must forgive others.'

The focus of our school assemblies this week have been learning more about the parable of the 'Unforgiving Servant'.

Jesus used this story to remind his followers that we must treat others as we would like to be treated.

We have explored the concept of forgiveness and how certain situations will be more difficult to forgive than other.

Each week, pupils are given a 'mission', or challenge. This week has been all about trying to forgive others and how we can show we are sorry.

You might like to chat to your children to see if they have completed any missions this week. We'd love to hear any stories from home.

Winter of Wellbeing

We continue to benefit from the winter of wellbeing grant and have recently been visited by a willow weaver.

@lovingthewillow worked with every year group to create the most amazing dragon that now watches over the Early Years building.

Children also came home with a magic wand and I know that they had the best time exploring the expressive arts.

Yet another wonderful experience for our children.

Diolch Mr Morris for organising.

Eat them to defeat them!

The children have absolutely loved joining in this with this challenge.
