Our letter to you
We hope this snapshot of our lives shows how much love we have for our family and how much love we can give to another child. We can’t wait to meet the baby that is meant to be a part of our family forever.
Even though we haven’t met, we’re praying for you and your baby as you’re going through this. We have so much respect for you for making a brave and selfless decision. If you choose our family, we promise your baby will be cared for, safe & loved. Thank you for taking the time to consider us!

Our story
We went to grade school together, but didn't really get to know each other until years later. At first we were just friends until Kelsey asked Colleen on a date. We fell completely in love and have been ever since! We got married on a beautiful rainy day in October 2011.
After we married, we decided to move back to the country to farm. Not only did we want fresh air and wide open spaces, but we also knew that it would be a wonderful place to raise our future children.
We tried to start our family for seven years and during that time we had three miscarriages. We know in our hearts that God called us to adoption. In 2019 our prayers were answered when we adopted our son, Dominic.
Now we feel it is time for our family to grow even more. We want to share our home and our hearts with another baby. We are so excited to adopt again!

About Colleen
I grew up as a farm girl and now enjoy being a farmer’s wife! I’m a stay at home mom & help Kelsey manage our farm. I love being able to spend my days playing, teaching, and taking care of my son.
Kelsey says about Colleen:
Colleen is my soul-mate and she is a wonderful mom! I love to hear her sing and she never ceases to amaze me with her musical talent. Spending time with her is the best part of my day.

About Kelsey
I grew up a couple miles outside of a small town where I spent many days out at the lake with my family. I make my living as a farmer and rancher. I spend most of my time working on vehicles and machinery, driving tractor, feeding cattle, helping on my father-in-law’s farm and hanging out with Colleen and Dominic.
Colleen says about Kelsey:
Kelsey is the most amazing dad! My favorite things about him are that he is a hard worker and he always knows how to make me laugh. He truly is my best friend and I am so grateful that I can spend time with him everyday.

- Fixing up vintage trucks and tractors

Dominic Robert
We adopted Dominic in 2019. He is the greatest blessing in our lives! We’re forever grateful to his birth family for choosing us to be his mom & dad.
Dominic likes tractors, trucks and playing outside. He loves babies and will be a good big brother. He tells us that he wants both a brother and a sister. He will be so happy to have a sibling to play with!
Colleen's Family
My family includes my mom and dad, two sisters, and two brothers. I also have a new little niece! My parents are amazing grandparents & live close by. My mom loves to watch Dominic anytime we need a babysitter and we go to their house most weekends.
My extended family still likes to get together for holidays and celebrate our own little family traditions. There is one tradition in my family that we call "Frost". It started when my grandpa read a poem on the first frost in October. Although my grandparents have passed away, we still carry on that tradition by getting together in the fall to spend time with each other. I know that they are all ready to welcome another child into the family!
Kelsey's Family
My family includes my mom and dad & three sisters. I have four nephews and four nieces. We get together often for birthdays and holidays and live close to extended family. My mom & dad love being grandparents, and my mom is always there to watch Dominic and the other grandkids.
We like taking family vacations to Table Rock Lake. When we are there we usually take a boat out on the water, go swimming, fishing, and have bonfires at the cabin. Sometimes we get together at our grandpa's pond too. They are excited to add another baby to the family and my nieces and nephews can't wait to have another cousin to play with!
Our Home
We live in a 2 story farmhouse in south central Kansas. We bought it several years ago and have been working on fixing it up. It is a cozy place for our little family.
Adventures
We can't wait to become a family of four and take another child on adventures with us!
