Ms. Samantha Craft, Catering Chef at Chartwells, was chosen as a Bee Recognized Award winner for her commitment to providing excellence. Ms. Craft is a dedicated individual who always goes above and beyond to make sure that she provides the best service possible. Anytime Chartwells provides catering services at any of our District events, we always receive high praises for the high quality food that is served as well as for their excellent customer service. Ms. Craft is attentive to her customers, listens to their needs, and is always willing to help. Her dedication to the Pendergast District is admirable and she is without a doubt deserving of this recognition.
TERESA CABRERA - 4th Grade Teacher at Desert Mirage Elementary School
Ms. Teresa Cabrera, 4th Grade Teacher at Desert Mirage Elementary School, was chosen as a Bee Recognized Award winner for her kindness, professionalism, and perseverance. Ms. Cabrera is a remarkable individual who always serves with kindness, patience, and empathy. She understands that students will have their own unique struggles and is always willing to help them navigate through their problems and help them succeed. She is an outstanding teacher and serves as a role model to her peers. Despite many struggles and challenges she has faced, she has persevered and continues to excel. Ms. Cabrera is a valued member of Desert Mirage and we are so grateful to have her on our team.
RONY RUBIO - Pendergast District Courier
Mr. Rony Rubio, Pendergast District Courier, was chosen as a Bee Recognized winner for his selfless nature and willingness to help others. For over twenty years, Mr. Rubio has served the Pendergast District staff and community with kindness and excellence. His positive and caring attitude is contagious to those around him and always brings a smile to peoples' faces. Mr. Rubio has been described by his peers as a pleasant, energetic, and selfless individual who is always looking to help others. Anytime we need Mr. Rubio's assistance, we know that we can count on him.
VICTORIA BECERRA - 6th Grade Teacher at Desert Horizon Elementary School
Ms. Victoria Becerra, 6th Grade Teacher at Desert Horizon Elementary School, was chosen as a Bee Recognized Award winner for her willingness to continue learning and growing for the betterment of her school, district, and community. Ms. Becerra has already accomplished so much during her first year of teaching. She has shown tremendous growth and is constantly seeking ways to improve her instruction. Ms. Becerra has been described as a caring and dedicated individual who contributes exceptionally well with others.
SUSAN KNOEBEL - 7th Grade Teacher at Sunset Ridge Elementary School
Ms. Susan Knoebel, 7th Grade ELA & Social Studies Teacher at Sunset Ridge Elementary School, was chosen as a Bee Recognized Award winner for her commitment to serving students, families, and staff with excellence. Ms. Knoebel goes above and beyond every single day to ensure that all students and staff at Sunset Ridge are set up for success. Her peers have described her as strong, compassionate, and inspirational person who is always willing to help others. She has helped create a caring, respectful, and safe learning environment for everyone on campus. The staff at Sunset Ridge cherish Ms. Knoebel and are truly thankful for all she does to lift their spirits and help them continue to grow professionally and personally. We are so grateful to her for all she has contributed to Sunset Ridge Elementary School and the Pendergast District.
