The first day of school for next school year is Wednesday, Aug. 9, for students in grades 1-12. Fall Break will be Oct. 9 and 10.

POTLUCK LUNCH FOR LS STAFF: The PTSA is planning a potluck-style luncheon for extended planning day Friday, March 10. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Please refer to the sign up sheet for food / items needed: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d4da5a62ca5f8c43-teachers/147591136#/ Please bring items in disposable containers with a lid to the cafeteria between 10 and 10:30am.
Please remember to return Fun Run sponsor sheets, either with a donation per lap or flat donation. The grade that brings the most back will receive coupons for a free Cane's kid meal. Kindergarten was our highest, and we awarded 2nd grade this week. Thanks so much for your support. Fun Run helped us build our playground, and add turf and seating to the front recess area.

The Children's Museum visited 3rd grade in preparation for a field trip.
Willow first graders kicked off the Mardi Gras break with their annual shoebox parade! They were accompanied by some of our high school band members.
3rd graders cheered on the Willow boys varsity soccer team at the State finals. Congrats to our team for securing the DIII State Championship!
CRAWFISH BOIL INFO
Get ready for the 39th Annual Crawfish Boil: Let the Good Times Boil on Saturday, March 18, from 11-6! There will be music, games, inflatables and great food! Volunteer here! Admission is free. The Crawfish Boil Committee will be pre-selling tickets and t-shirts at all three campuses next week! T-shirts will be $16.50 (inclusive of tax) and have an amazing design by 6th grade student Gianna Celestine! Early Bird tickets are buy 20, get 5 free! Card and check only. Brimmer campus- 3/16-17- During lunch, in the Spirit Shop Marsalis campus- 3/16 at morning drop-off; 3/17 at afternoon pickup in the Joseph Side yard Williams Campus- 3/16-17 at Morning Meeting outside the Pine St gate.
