T-TRAK Club at the Swindon MODRAIL 2023 Railway Show

The T-Trak Club represented the school at the Swindon Modrail 2023 Model Railway Show on Saturday 8th March at the STEAM museum, supported by members’ parents and Network Rail STEM Ambassadors. Our display was popular with families and younger visitors, who enjoyed driving the trains and looking out for the signals. The organiser was impressed with what we did so he invited us back again next year.

After building five new snow scene modules before the school’s Christmas Fair, the T-Trak Club members worked between January and March to repair our existing modules and test a new electronics module ready for the Swindon show. We had three test running sessions to check everything worked reliably and fix problems we identified, as well as practising the fairest ways to let people take turns. You can find out more about T-Trak modular model railways and the modules our club has built on our website at http://ttrak.wikidot.com/monkton-park-primary-school-t-trak-club.

I’d like to thank all the members of the T-Trak Club for their hard work in the run up to the show, with special thanks to everyone who came along to help on the day.
