WICOR

WICOR stands for writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading. It is a model for learning and also for teaching students in the AVID program. Students write to think and read to learn.

The WICOR model relflects and promotes the expertise and attitudes that will serve students well in life beyond college graduation.

AVID Binders

The AVID Binder is big. Students organize all of their notes, papers, and notebooks into a 4" binder. Even their supplies go in the binder.

Cornell Notes

Meadow Park teachers will show you how to set up your notes in order to ask good questions and find the answers to them.

Soon, you will be come a pro at keeping track of all the information you need for each class. Studying will be a breeze.
