Javelina Football moved up a spot to No. 22 in Hero Sports D2 Football poll

Javelina Football continues the winning streak against Western New Mexico this past weekend and moves up in the rankings up to #22! This weekend they play Oklahoma Panhandle State.

Honoring the men and women that defended our country.

A special ceremony was held on campus Friday, to honor the men and women that have served our country. The guest speaker was Chief Petty Officer Misty Williams.

Tio Kleberg and Fred Bryant were selected as 2017 honorees for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation Texas Conservation Hall of Fame. The two were selected for their individual accomplishments and their work together at the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute.

Balous and Julie Miller have pledged to establish the Miller Family Dream Scholarship Endowment. That endowment will be matched by the university with funds from the Estate of Nadine Arrington to form the Arrington Match-Miller Family Dream Scholarship Endowment. Together, these two endowments are valued at $200,000. Read more at the link below.

Students, alumni, faculty and staff participated in the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra (KSO) fundraising event, the Painted Violins Project. The Office of the President was a Gold Sponsor for this unique evening in which non-working violins were painted by both professional and amateur artists, then auctioned to raise funds for the KSO.
