Plus One Pup
In the spring of 2016, we grew our pack by one golden, brown-eyed, lovable, mischievous pain in the butt. Harp is a master escape artist and will eat anything, but he is a cuddly sweet boy and has tons of fun with his sister, Kona.
Jennie's New Job
Also in the spring, Jennie landed a dream job at Adobe! She is a Customer Success Manager for the Adobe Digital Marketing Suite supporting Media & Entertainment companies. She is loving the job, her colleagues, and the opportunities she gets with the company.
The McGuires return to Disney
After a nearly a 2 1/2 year drought, the McGuires took a nice long trip to Orlando with Aunt Donna, the Clifford sisters and the boys - Ryan and Alex. We had a very relaxing (yes, relaxing! More Starbucks and cocktails, less lines and crowds) trip in July staying at our favorite resorts - Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Loew's Portofino Bay Resort at Universal.
After two long years of evening classes, studying on weekends, and missing out on many social opportunities, Jennie graduated from University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School with her Masters! She has made many great friends on this journey and is so thankful for the experience. Jennie and Tommy spent a lovely weekend with Mom and Dad in Chapel Hill, NC for the graduation on campus.
Rutgers Tailgating
Not a very inspiring season for the Scarlet Knights, but we had a blast cheering them on with our tailgating family, all of Stevie's best friends.
Another Beautiful Niece
On November 11th, Sean and Cyndi welcomed their 4th child, Kendyl Ann into the world- our second niece! She is a little love and Kellen, Keira, and Kamden (pictured above) are thrilled to be helping mommy with the new baby. Uncle Tommy and Aunt Jennie love hanging out with that little crew, and are happy to be passing on knowledge of all things Disney!
Speaking of Disney........
Ryan and Alex were excellent hosts for this trip. And they asked Jennie to marry them in February!! What an honor- can't wait!
Tommy's Big News!
Tommy has been earning his Masters in Elementary Education at Harlem Village Academies where he has taught Physical Education for the last 3 years. He was asked to step into the classroom to teach a 1st grade class and he jumped at the opportunity. He is loving the change, the kids are (of course) loving him as their teacher and he is not looking back! He is also enjoying the upgrade in work attire.
We have been so blessed in 2016 and are excited to see what 2017 has in store for us! We hope all of our family and friends have a very happy new year!!!
