Nordic Skiing 12th at NCAA Div. I Championships

Racing in only their second competition of the season, the Mules went up against the best racers in the country. Placing 12th as a team, Colby finished as the second Division III team behind the College of St. Scholastica from Duluth, Minnesota.

Men's Basketball Ends Short Season 4-0

Playing back-to-back-to-back games over the weekend, the Men's Basketball team notched an undefeated season, outscoring opponents by an average of 17 points.

Wallace Tucker '21, the team's lone senior, closed out his playing career on Mayflower Hill with an enthusiastic performance Sunday, scoring the first 9 points of the game on three deep 3-pointers en route to a team-high 23 points.

Women's Ice Hockey Plays First Game of 20-21, Defeats USM 2-1

After a deadlocked first period, the Mules got on the board first with a goal by Jillian Mazzocca '23. The Huskies knotted the score two minutes later. The game remained tied until halfway through the third period when senior Lily von Stade connected with classmates and tallied the game-winner, assisted by Natalie Maus and Tay Munson.

The Mules are back in action Saturday for their first game in the new Jack Kelley Rink.

Men's Ice Hockey Celebrates Five Seniors

After ending the first period tied 1-1 (Henry Molson '24 goal from Brian Sanzone '22 and Bill Overby '21), USM jumped on top for good and edged the Mules 2-1.

Five seniors were honored after the game for their distinguished careers with the program.

Mules' Comeback Falls Just Short vs Saint Joe's

Alisha Aube '22 scored 17 points in each game this weekend, going 15-17 from the free throw line.

The Mules dropped their first game on the new Whitmore-Mitchell Court Saturday to the Monks of Saint Joseph's College, 81-63. Carter McGloon '24 joined Aube in double digits with 11 points.

On Sunday, spotting the Monks a considerable lead at halftime (14-36), the Mules stormed back to close the gap to four points late in the game. Saint Joseph's held tight to pull off the weekend sweep 59-50. Adaobi Nebuwa '24 scored a season-high 14 points on 6-14 shooting from the field and added 8 rebounds.
