LEARNING GOALS
- Reinforce Foundational ITCQB Skills: Strengthen the basic skills acquired in Level 1 training.
- Solidify Understanding of Room Clearing and Movement Tactics: Gain a deeper understanding of ITCQB room clearing and movement tactics at the two to four man team level.
- Recognize the Importance and Liabilities of higher Speed in CQB: Identify the significance and potential drawbacks of clearing spaces rapidly via the Attack speed technique and SOPs
- Experience Limitations of High-Speed Movements: Understand personal limitations when operating at high speeds in confined spaces.
- Integrate higher speed into tactics: Apply previously learned concepts, into settings where operational tempo dictate higher speed
- Enhance Mobility with multiple individuals in confined space, and practice skills that allow for Decision-Making: Improve the ability to move and make decisions quickly in confined spaces under pressure.
- Improve Situational Awareness: Develop the capability to maintain situational awareness while moving quickly through various environments with multiple individuals, over different roles, while maintaining high awareness towards the surroundings.
- Learn Decision-Making Principles: Understand the principles of decision-making and the factors that influence performance in a classroom setting.
- Develop safe in movement, but tactical in decision, skills for interaction with doors in CQB
- Understand key tactical considerations concerning push versus pull doors
- Define and exeprience cross entries and FF risks associated.
- Apply and Adapt Tactical Techniques: Adapt and apply tactical techniques in various scenarios, including dealing with specific dangers in corridors and managing multiple openings during operations.
- Develope recognition that supports Pre-Entry Assessment: Assess the door and surrounding area for potential dangers.
- Understand vartiety of Entry Stacking, depending on the type of doors and their state

OUR METHODOLOGY.
Our System.
The Immediate threat CQB methodology by Project Gecko is based on our field experience, influenced by science and dictated by constantly changing reality of threats. With that being said, we at Project Gecko are committed to teach and develop our CQB system to the highest standards while sticking to science based principles & facts.
The Origins.
The origins of our methodology are in the Israeli tactics. Our CQB - lead instructor is a former Israeli SF member with an extended experience in the field of closed quarters.
Behavior Compliant System.
We believe that its not all about the technique or equipment, but the human behind it. In extreme situations, such as violence, the human being is effected by the weight of emotions, mental capacity & several physical changes.
From experience, these factors are what will eventually effect and turn the person into working in a default manner. Not all tactics are behavior compliant, most tactics actually fall within the first moment of engagement. The tactics we use, as well as our approach, are backed by science and not only years of experience in the Israeli Defense Forces. Our work is based on psychology, neuroscience, motor skills and the human behavior as important guidelines in our work to create and deliver a reality relevant, cutting - edge CQB system.
FORCE-ON-FORCE TRAINING IN THIS COURSE
Our Facility is equipped with 360 Degrees camera systems. We will conclude Force on Force validation drills with an After Action report in the class room where instructors and students will review Camera footage of the scenarios. getting the most out of the training!
Force on Force driven scenarios will be conducted throughout the course progress and will act as a validation at different phases to confirm to the student that what he practices actually works. The FOFs will begin with low-intensity one-room clearing and will gradually increase in both complexity and size into team-level room clearing to structure clearing.
