ENFP Personality Sydney dewey
An ENFP personality is characterized by being strong in the possession of a distinct preference of Extraversion over Introversion (59%), having slight preference of iNtuition over Sensing (19%), having moderate preference of Feeling over Thinking (25%), and having slight preference of Perceiving over Judging (16%). ENFPs want to both help people and be liked and admired by other people. They are warm, out-going, enjoyable people and genuinely get along with almost everyone. We possess strong values and viewpoint, and tend to persuade others in a gentle but enthusiastic way. For some ENFPs, relationships can be seriously tested by their short attention spans and emotional needs. They are easily distracted by new friends and acquaintances, forgetting their older and more familiar emotional connections for long periods of times. While working with others, we are easy to get along with, interact with a positive and creative manner. They also have trouble with procrastination, and dislike performing small, uninteresting tasks. ENFPs are knwon to be most productive when working in a group. ENFPs sometimes can be blindsided by their secondary Feeling function. Hasty decisions based on deeply felt values may override thought processes. Such as abruptly quitting a job in such a moment. (Yes, I have had prior experience with this situation.)
Looking at the opposite of an ENFP, we can direct our attention to an ISTJ personality; Introverted Sensing Thinking Judging. ISTJs are often characterized as inspectors. They have a strong sense of right and wrong, especially in their area of interest and responsibility. ISTJs are easily frustrated by the inconsistencies of others, especially when the second parties don't keep their commitments. This differs from ENFPs because with an Introverted mind ISTJs are more kept to themselves and do not direct attention to themselves unless it comes to them first. ITSJs act with uniformity and regularity rather than branching out and innovation with new ideas to experience something spontaneous. Using senses over intuition creates the act of "thinking INSIDE the box" rather than using your imagination to think up separate ideas. To think rather than feel, you are more prone to making decisions depending on logic rather than based on emotion, based on what they feel they should do. An introverted personality is more kept to themselves and focusing on things people do not tend to notice if they put themselves out there and think of what is around them.
