“H I N A N O” or “Kitty”, Born and raised in a Thai-Japanese household, Kitty Hinano Chaivirach began recording music as H I N A N O in 2020, debuting with the single “Tomorrow I’ll be Twenty-Two” the night before her 22nd birthday. Not long after her first release, she signed under an artist service platform MILK! BKK, where she released her second single “Wish Upon a Star”, dedicating the song to the loss of her cats. She released her third single “KITTY WITH A KNIFE” on halloween night with a music video where H I N A N O herself performed a combination of contemporary dance and classical ballet. Her latest release is 'insomnia' where she wrote about her experience with sexual harassment alongside power abuse during her years in university.
Her music is a combination of pop and alternative with influences of classical music in melodic motifs, structure and form with a touch of her own style of vocals and lyrics. She is regarded as a part of a new generation of female artists who should be on the watch both at home as well as abroad.
ALL her music is available digital streaming platforms
Latest Single: 'insomnia'
Her songs still maintains the attractiveness of alternative pop music with her distinctive, healing voice. This song is based on her personal experiences with sexual harassment and power abuse, conveying the perspective of the being the victim and not being able to forget about the incidents causing sleepless nights. She wanted to write this song to share her experience as well as make awareness that being sexually harassed (or harassment of any kind) is not something that the victims asks for, but it is the individual that does not stop abusing their rights of freedom to do so.
