Sushi By Ray Power

Real Wood Veneer Lighting

Sushi Suspension

The Edomae light

The Sushi suspension lamp by Ray Power captures the essence of the traditional Japanese dish in wood veneer. The unfussy, elongated lamp is wrapped in a narrow metal band—in the manner of rice wrapped in seaweed. As a lamp, Sushi reflects the Japanese aesthetic for simple, elegant, and functional designs made using wood. In designing Sushi, Power focuses attention on the natural beauty of wood veneer.

The Sushi suspension lamp is available in all of LZF’s wood veneer colours. The lamp’s metal finishes are either Matt Black, Matt Nickel or Gold.

Sushi Xtra Shade

The ingenious Sushi, designed by Ray Power, allows you to make as many color combinations as your imagination allows with the Sushi Xtra Shade. With one Sushi Xtra Shade, you can change the color of half of the lamp, transforming your Sushi into a two-tone lamp.

Sushi wood shades have two magnetic strips on each end allowing you to change one veneer for another; remove the one you want to change and put the new one on. In a matter of seconds, a new lamp will come to life, which will change the mood of your environment.

LZF was born in Valencia in 1994...

among friends, on the shores of the Mediterranean, that inexhaustible source of light, calm and joy. We found that wood cut into thin sheets attached to a light source was exquisite company.

We build lamps like someone who sows dresses, polishes jewelry or models sculptures. We create harmonic, elegant, unique shapes. We select each sheet according to its grain, according to its transparency, we choose its color and we look after it as if it were a luxury fabric, taking care that its properties are adequate to create each volume. We believe in the power of light - that it can change a person’s mood, alter an environment, create peace and harmony — and have worked to introduce lighting collections that have an illuminating, artistic impact.

We will continue to be committed to our creative roots as we explore new mediums in our future collections. Learn more about us: lzf-lamps.com
