A Protist is a cell that moves by moving its little "tail". It can only move in some sort of liquid, like water or oil. Protist cells can live anywhere there is water, for example algae. You can find algae in a river, an ocean or even a lake. A few types of protist are like plant types like kelp and algae. Another type of protist is fungle like, such as slime molds.
