OneDrive your new best friend
The future of MOON TIDE MEDIA. Efficiency through online storage and syncing.
ACCESS YOUR FILES FROM ANYWHERE
We will be storing all our files on OneDrive, allowing them to be available on the interwebs and accessible from anywhere, on any device. All you need is your Microsoft Account login and your password.
That means view, save, and share pdfs, excel and word docs to email, basecamp, or to your OneDrive.

LET'S PLAY WITH 365 ON YOUR COMPUTER. YAY!
To start this process, you all will be getting an email, letting you know that I've shared the "SALES" folder with you.

Once the OneDrive main page is open, make it a book mark. Later, you'll be able to access it directly from there or through the 365 grid on the top left. (select the OneDrive from the drop down).

Navigate to the folder you are looking for. Choose "shared with me" from menu on top left.

Choose "Sales" from list to the right.

Keep going.

Browse the folders to find the file you want. (example the All About Kids email jpg) Once you do click on it and it will preview for you. Then in the top left corner, click share.

You can choose "can edit" or "can view". Most of the time you will likely want "can view", especially when sending to clients.

ATTACHING A FILE FROM YOUR EMAIL (reply or draft)
In the email, you click the paper clip icon like normal to attach a file. The dialog box will open, on the left is a menu allowing you to select where you want to get the file from. At the top is the OneDrive. A view of what is in your OneDrive will show up. Navigate to the folder you want.

Navigate to the file you want and click on it.

When sending to a client, you need to select "Attach as a copy". If it is an excel file that you are sharing internally, you'll want to "Attach as a copy". (More to come on this topic later.)

OMG, YOU CAN USE YOUR PHONE TOO!
Download the OneDrive App. It's free. You just need you email and password associated with your current 365 account.

Login with your 365 email and password. Remembering these credentials and having to reset them every few months, will be the hardest part of this process. You may want to write it down in the notes on your phone.

Navigate to the folder / file you are looking for.

Click on the file. Click the bottom left arrow coming out of the box.

Select "Send file."

Now you'll have multiple options. Send in text, email (mac mail or outlook app), basecamp, etc.

If you send from the MAC mail app, just make sure you've selected the correct email.

If you've downloaded the apps for basecamp and outlook email, they will be shown here. If you haven't, do it.
If you have the apps and they don't show up here, click more (•••). Then turn the access on (green is good). Click done and go back.
