2017 USC Football Season By The Numbers A recap of what the Trojans accomplished in 2017

The Trojans went 11-3 in 2017, posting their 13th 11-win season in school history.

Seven of those 11 wins came at home, where the Trojans have now won 16 straight dating back to 2015.

Only Alabama has a longer active win streak at home.

One of USC's 11 wins came in the Pac-12 Championship Game against Stanford.

With the 31-28 win, the Trojans secured their first Pac-12 title since 2008.

USC RB Ronald Jones II rushed for 140 yards and 2 scores in the Pac-12 Championship Game.

In total, his 1,550 rush yards on the year ranked 8th in the nation and 8th in USC single-season history.

Jones now has 3,619 career rushing yards — the 5th-most in USC history, behind Charles White, Marcus Allen, Anthony Davis and Ricky Bell.

Jones was 1 of 2 Trojans to earn All-American status in 2017, along with LB Uchenna Nwosu.

Jones became USC's first All-American RB since 2005.

Nwosu led the nation's edge defenders with 11 batted passes, plus 75 tackles, 9.5 sacks and an interception.

Jones and Nwosu were 2 of USC's conference-leading 7 players on the All-Pac-12 First Team.

LB Cameron Smith, QB Sam Darnold, DL Rasheem Green, DB Marvell Tell III and WR-ST Michael Pittman Jr. also made All-Pac-12 First Team.

Sam Darnold became the first USC QB to earn Pac-12 First Team honors since Mark Sanchez in 2008.

He broke Carson Palmer's single-season record for pass yards at USC, with 4,142 yards this year.

He also broke Matt Leinart's single-season record for total offense, with 4,225 total yards.

Darnold's connection with Deontay Burnett helped him become the 13th Trojan wideout to reach 1,000 yards in a season.

The Trojans dominated on the defensive side of the ball, racking up 46 sacks — tied for the most in the nation.

USC posted its most sacks and takeaways since 2012, and its most total offense since 2005.

The team posted back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time since 2007-08.

The Trojans return to the Coliseum on Sept. 1, 2018 to open the season against UNLV.
