About Me
My name is Megan Koziarski and I am a senior at West Virginia University studying digital marketing promotions and am expecting to graduate May, 2022. I am currently working at Chestnut Ridge Hospital and creating a social media marketing campaign for CORE. I am passionate about social media and currently seeking internships for the summer, 2022.
Personal Life
I was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and spent my teen years in Deep creek, MD. I've always been a creative, active, and a do it yourself kind of person. My active lifestyle led me to competing in the biggest dance competition in the world (WORLDS) and winning states for pole vaulting my senior year of high school.
In my spare time I enjoy teaching myself how to do different skills to save money and be more well rounded. For instance I have taught myself how to cut, dye, braid, and style any texture of hair. I taught myself how to do my makeup and lash extensions; then I would practice on my friends to build more of a range. The skill I am most proud of is teaching myself how to do my own acrylic nails. It took a lot of practice and years of perfecting but now I can't go anywhere without people asking me where I get them done. The next project I plan on tackling is designing and creating my own clothes. These skills allow me to express my creativity while saving a lot of money.
How I Give Back
I have been blessed to able to give back to different communities throughout my life. One thing I love about volunteering is being able to witness and help people break boundaries/expectations. I have volunteered in a blind skiing program where I helped direct the blind down the slopes and around the resort. This year will be my 6th year as a volunteer counselor at Dr. Bill Neches Heart Camp for Kids, after beginning as a camper at 8 years old. I love Heart Camp because kids with heart defects get to meet other people that have gone through the same experiences (surgeries, bullying , misconceptions), while doing fun activities.
My Favorite Charities
I believe everyone has some experience in their life, that changes them forever. I believe we should give back to those charities that have the means to make a difference in the world. These are the charities that I gave back to!

Experienced the Conference for Young Entrepreneurial Minds |Ocean Casino|
Went to learn skills used in Entrepreneurial mindsets, while making connections with professionals in their field.

Created a social media audit and analysis for BOPARC, WV.
Creating an integrated promotions campaign for the Center of Organ Recovery & Education (CORE). Includes:
- Deliverables to client along the development.
- An interview with CORE families and medical professionals to receive success stories and video footage.
- The development of visuals and storyline to combine in a short success story video to post on COREs socials. Ending in a call-to-action to push for more registered organ donors in West Virginia.
Experienced the impact of going viral on Tiktok.
- Gained inside knowledge of using Tiktok analytics and engamement stats.
- Gained features like going live, creator funds, etc.
- Used the Creator Portal to learn how to be successful on the platform.
