THE WOLVERINES
Utah Valley returns 12 letterwinners and six starters from last year's squad that made a run to the semifinals of the WAC Tournament. The Wolverines welcome back second-team all-WAC honorees Hannah Bruce and Madeline Moore to the squad. 2017 first team all-WAC honoree Breanna DeWaal also returns to the team after returning from an LDS Church mission in Romania. Leading scorer and point getter Sadie Brockbank also returns to the pitch for her sophomore season. The 2019 Wolverines were recently selected to finish fourth in the WAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. Bruce and DeWaal earned WAC Preseason All-WAC honors.

Leading scorer and point getter Sadie Brockbank (R-So., F) also returns to the pitch for her sophomore season. The 2017 WAC Freshman of the Year Amber Tripp (F, R-Jr.) returns for her junior season this year, while 2017 first team all-WAC honoree Breanna DeWaal (Jr., F) also returns to the team after returning from an LDS Church mission in Romania.
FELLOW RETURNING LETTERWINNERS
Along with Bruce, Moore, Brockbank, Tripp, and DeWaal, the Wolverines return letterwinners in Brianna Hatch (R-Sr., MF), Cassidy McCormick (Jr., D), Julianna Carter (So., F), Megan Sullivan (So., D), Brinley Nelson (Jr., MF), Amanda Mangelson (Jr., D), and Siri Dahl (Jr., MF).
NEWCOMERS
The Wolverines welcome 12 newcomers, including nine true freshmen to this year's squad. Danielle Orr (R-Fr., GK) and Jenna Shepherd (R-Fr., D) join the squad after redshirting last season. UVU also welcomes transfers Allie Jara (R-Sr., GK, San Diego), Brenna Crow (Jr., D, Saint Mary's), and McKenzie Humpherys (So., F, San Francisco) to the team.
THE COACH
Chris Lemay is entering his third season as the head coach of the Wolverines.
- Team made a second-straight appearance in the WAC Tournament semifinal match.
- Led Utah Valley to a WAC Tournament championship in his first season at UVU in 2017, earning the WAC's auto bid to the NCAA Tournament.
- Had six of his players earn postseason WAC honors in 2017, inlcluding WAC Freshman of the Year, Amber Tripp. Breanna DeWaal also earned WAC Tournament MVP honors and was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-District team.
- Had 13 of his players earn Academic All-WAC honors in 2017.
- His team registered a goal at Stanford, becoming the only team during the 2017 season to score a goal on Stanford's home pitch.
- Associate Head Coach at Cal (2013-16)
- Helped Cal to back-to-back 13-win seasons.
- Four NCAA Tournament appearances
- Led Cal recruiting to the third-ranked recruiting class in the nation in 2016
- Helped Cal to 51-22-11 record in four seasons with 14 players earning all-Pac 12 honors.
- Assistant coach at San Diego State where he helped team to a Mountain West regular season title and tournament championship.
- Helped SDSU to the NCAA Sweet 16 and a No. 4 national ranking.
- Assistant coach at UC Riverside (2003-06).
- Assistant coach for WPSL's San Diego Sea Lions, featuring three women's World Cup players.
- Head coach of San Diego Surf where he was named Coach of the Year in both 2010 and 2013.
