The Ground

When I was a child I collected rocks with passion and imagination. I enjoyed seeking them out, searching for certain colors, weights and shapes, and I found in them a sort of personal grace and inspiration, like a sculpture formed by nature, shaped just for me. And later in life, while seeking truth through color and form, I circled back around to this great simplicity. And I found rocks again, but at the center of my Work, both representing, and forging the Ground.
