The Hobart College squash team begins its season on Saturday, Nov. 6, with a pair of matches at the Smith Squash Center. The Statesmen will take on Denison at noon and #24 Chatham at 2 p.m.

Hobart was 7-13 two years ago and finished second in the Chaffee Cup. The Statesmen also finished second in the Liberty League, posting a 3-1 record at the conference championship.

Head Coach Pat Cosquer enters his third year in charge of the Hobart squash team and is excited for the possibilities that a new year brings.

Here are some key returners:

Schedule

Following Saturday's opener, Hobart will head out on the road for the remainder of its matches in 2021. Cosquer has compiled a challenging schedule for the Statesmen this year. Seven of Hobart's 16 opponents are ranked in the CSA preseason top 25. Two of those matches will come next week. The Statesmen will take on No. 10 Rochester on Nov. 10 and No. 19 St. Lawrence on Nov. 13. This year's Liberty League Championships will be held Feb. 4-6 in Poughkeepsie, New York.
