OPAL Fundraiser
What an amazing morning we had with Rob Mitchell for our Sporting Champions fundraising event. A really inspiring talk and absolutely nailed the fitness circuits. A fantastic effort all round!

FOMPS
SUMMER PARTY DISCO
Although Monkfest could unfortunately not go ahead this year, we are keen to give the children an 'End of school year Summer Party!’
The Summer Party Disco will take place on Thursday 7 July in the school hall.
As in previous years, there will be two sessions.
The Reception & Key Stage 1 session starts at 5:00 pm and ends at 6:00 pm.
The Key Stage 2 session starts at 6:15 pm and finishes at 7:15 pm.
Entrance is £2.50 and includes a drink and a packet of crisps. We will have some treats for sale on the night, sweets 20p and crisps 30p. So feel free to give the children some money so they can buy some if they wish. There will be unlimited water and squash for both sessions and also some fizzy pop for 20p at the KS2 session. The music and disco will be facilitated by our own, in-house, DJ Stuart Rolfe!
If the children would like Stuart to play a specific song, please send us their requests by Tuesday 5 July to FOMPSPTA@gmail.com
We can accept card payments for the entrance fee at the door, but ONLY CASH for the treats in the hall.
FUN IN THE SUN TOMBOLA
As so many of you have donated ‘Fun in the sun’ tombola prizes, we will have a Tombola stall that evening as well!
The Tombola stall will be open from 4:30 until 6:45pm, so come and try your luck while you are waiting to drop off / collect your child/ren.
Tombola tickets will be 50p each or 3 for a £1. Every ticket ending with a ‘0’ or ‘5’ is a winner!

Play Team Vacancy
We are looking for someone to join our OPAL Play Team who do a tremendous job supporting our children in their play and helping to make our lunchtimes safe and fun. The successful person will work as a member of the Play Team to create a safe and stimulating outdoor environment providing social, active and creative play experiences for all. The Play Team are also responsible for ensuring that all our children have a pleasant eating experience at lunch time, whilst maximising the time they can spend outside playing. They support all our children as they visit the dining hall and are responsible for clearing and cleaning the hall to a state ready for use (e.g. for PE, school assemblies) in the afternoon.
