ENGAGE

After watching the video, share and discuss:

What have you always wanted to learn? Picture yourself at the end of the school year. What does it look like? What did you accomplish? What problems do you want to solve? What’s something you struggle with that you would like to overcome?What’s something you would like to learn in this class?

EXPLORE

What do you notice?

Discuss with two classmates around you. What images do you see? What words pop out? What is the overall tone? Notice the design also - shapes, colors, mood!

LEARN

Read the article about why vision boards are valuable! And Consider how creating a vision board might help you accomplish your goals this school year.

APPLY

Begin editing the template to share your OWN VISION for the school year! *You could sketch out your vision board -- beforehand -- on scratch paper if needed.

SHARE

Open the Padlet and post your vision board!

Then, comment on at least 3 classmates vision boards to share how you might be able to help them achieve their goals.

REFLECT

This will be a whole class reflection. How can we hold each other up? Walk over and chat with 3 classmates.

Share one strategy you used to create your vision board.

EXTEND

If you wish ... create an action plan to show how you can accomplish 1-2 of your goals. Imagine all the things you can do to get better at that goal!
