Time, Labor and Expense Biweekly Demos

Web Time and Expense had their latest demo check-in on July 15th. Check out the link below to see some of the team and learn more about what they have been working on!
Expense Update: Receipt Capture now available on the Mobile App
Thanks to our friends in Mobile, the company 2000 app now lets you upload pictures to your receipt gallery!
Pro Tip - Take pictures of your receipts so they are in your camera roll, then upload them using the app. When you use the app, it lets you take a new pic or upload from the camera roll. There shouldn't be any issues taking pics in app and uploading them, but you are the alpha users of this feature, so... practice safe receipt uploading!
Thanks again to Briab Ellis, Shawn Jackson, Jason Palmisano and the entire mobile team!

Web Time Patch 7.20.16
On the night of July 20th, we had another successful Web Time patch released to production. This Patch included 8 items from our OPSP Top 5 Web Time and New Rules Engine lists; positively impacting 122 reported clients, with just over $9.8 million in total annual revenue. We also have 1 new features that will be released to our clients as of Friday (7.22.16), that had been requested by over 100 of our current clients, totaling just over $7.8 million in annual revenue, and 7 completed page rewrites to finalize the UI Refresh initiative (release timing to be determined).
New Release
Time Off Requests on Web Kiosk: Available as of 7.21.16
Employees will now be able to submit time off requests through our Web Kiosk. As of this Friday, clients have an option to enable Time Off Requests in the set up options for the Web Kiosk. Also new with this feature, is the ability to restrict when these requests will be available. To help prevent lines at the kiosks, clients are able to identify availability time frames to help ensure the line continues to move during their busy hours. They are also able to identify which kiosks these requests will be available at, this setup is on a per kiosk basis. To learn more about this feature and its setup, please see the link below.

Tips & Tricks
Date Range: Payroll Policy Duration
Has there ever been a time that a client was missing hours on the time card approval page? Was there every a time a client called in because the report time frames were not what was expected? Did you ever have to help answer a question for a client regarding a discrepancy between the time card approvals page and the closing summary?
Throughout Web Time, there is a Payroll Policy Duration date filter.
- What this does: This populates a date range based on the selected policy's frequency, allowing users to navigate through previous, current and future pay periods.
- What this does not do: This does not filter employees but rather only updates the date range selection. (To filter employees please use the 'Filter' option, seen in blue on the screen shot below)
- Where this can be found: Time Card Approvals, Reports, Time sheet Audit trail, Terminal File Import Log.
- When can this be confusing: If a client has more than one payroll frequency, they have be careful they are selecting the appropriate option for the employees within view and the appropriate employees for the selected date range option.
- Override Option: 'Use Date Range' allows the users to manually select a date range
