USC took tare of business in its final road game of the regular season, beating Colorado to earn a spot in the conference championship on Dec. 1.
Both teams started slow, going scoreless in the first quarter, but USC's offense came alive in the second.
QB Sam Darnold delivered 2 TDs to Michael Pittman Jr. and Deontay Burnett.
It was the first career TD reception for Pittman, a sophomore.
Just before the half, DB Ajene Harris picked off Colorado QB Steven Montez and took it to the house for the first of 2 interceptions on the day.
A number of Harris' former teammates at USC took to Twitter to sing his praises during the game.
USC went into the break up 20-0.
It was the first time the Trojans have shut out their opponent in the first half this season.
In the second half, Darnold scored his 3rd total TD of the day on a 24-yard QB keeper.
He finished the game with 329 pass yards and 31 rush yards.
Ronald Jones II also had a big day, rushing for 142 yards and a TD.
He ran past Reggie Bush, LenDale White and Mike Garrett on USC's career rushing chart, and now sits at No. 6 all-time.
Colorado found a rhythm in the second half, but USC held strong to earn a 38-24 win.
