ITA National Assistant Coach of the Year
George Rivers from Trinity University has been named the 2022 ITA National Assistant Coach of the Year.
Rivers has been the Assistant Coach at Trinity University for the past seven years and has grown in confidence and responsibility while gaining the trust and respect of both our players and his peers during this time.
In 2022, Trinity finished 4th at ITA National Team Indoor Championship and had a season-high national ranking of No. 5. Behind Rivers guidance, Trinity won their 12th consecutive SCAC Conference Championship and produced both singles and doubles All-Americans in the fall.
In the year-end rankings, Trinity placed No. 13 within the Nation and No. 3 in the West Region after another outstanding season.
