Mule Weekly Recap April 5, 2021

#12 Mules Defeat #6 Cardinals 10-7 on the Road to Open 2021

The 12th-ranked Women's Lacrosse team made the trip to Middletown, Conn. to take on the 6th-ranked Cardinals of Wesleyan University. Colby led out of the gate, controlling possession and tempo en route to a 10-7 upset. The duo of sophomores Gianna Bruno and Anny Eddy combined for six goals (3 each) and the Mules returned home with the "W".

It was amazing to see the team step on the field again and compete together as one. We were just so excited to play again that no one was sure what to expect. I am so proud of the effort and resilience we showed the entire 60 minutes. It was a great day to be back on the field again!
