Border dahlia from seeds ordered in spring from Parkseeds

Sowed indoor April 22.

Placed in a container with pelargoniums after mid may last frost.

Container protected from hottest part of the day in the shade of a ninebark shrub.

Seed or pollen parent of Bishops Children.

I grew this lovely dahlia in 2011 along with Bishop of Leicester.

Sadly, the tubers did not survive winter storage.

Now I send tubers to a family member with an unheated section in her basement. Mine is too warm and dry.
