'raez' is a musical collaboration of Rachel Ellis from Girlfriend Cult and Aaron Pettine from Envy Alo. Residing in Silverthorne, CO and taking influence from their unique high-altitude surroundings, raez brings a musical experience unlike any other.
Rachel Ellis leads the duo with soulful gritty vocals and beautiful rhythm guitar. Aaron Pettine focuses on the production and keyboard side of things to help complete the raez soundscape, fortified from years of experience playing around the country in various funk, rock and soul outfits.
Together the duo is able to blend an array of genres to cater to any audience. From serenading the Après ski crowd with soulful acoustic covers to bringing the crowd to their feet with live beats and upbeat funk-pop music, this duo is gaining momentum for a reason.
