Sales Tax Rebounds After COVID-Related Decline in Fiscal Year 2021

Sales tax collections are showing strong economic growth during the first five months of the fiscal year at 11% ahead of forecast. The collections are an increase of 17% from the same time period in fiscal year 2021, which showed a 21% decline from the pre-COVID months in fiscal year 2020.
