It has been a short but incredibly busy half term at WCPS. The children have been readers, writers, mathematicians and scientists, as well as producing some amazing pieces of art work! Keep reading to see some of the things we have been up to. Have a lovely half term holiday - we hope you all enjoy a well-deserved rest!

YEAR GROUP ROUNDUP
CIRP
Year 1
Year one have thoroughly enjoyed their Art topic "The Queen's Knickers"! They have explored different methods of printing to design a royal pair of pants for the Queen's Jubilee. We are sure Her Majesty will love them!
Year 2
Year 2 have been busy creating cat and dog sculptures for the new HCAT office! They will definitely brighten the place up! They have also been absolute superstars throughout their SATs - well done Year 2.
Year 3
Year 3 have loved their "Changing Faces" art topic, and have produced some really creative photographs! Our end-of-topic Art Gallery was a great success - thank you if you were able to come.
Year 4
Year 4 had a fantastic day at Let Loose Adventure Centre, facing our fears and putting our skills to the test! It was a tough day but we definitely would have been great Roman soldiers! Watch the video below to see us in action...
We've also had an exciting and busy half term being artists, writers, mathematicians and scientists!
Year 5
Year 5 have loved their Art topic "Secrets of the Sea" and have created some beautiful prints!
Year 6
A massive well done to Year 6 for making it through SATs and coming out the other side! You have worked your socks off and we couldn't be more proud of you! It looks like you really enjoyed your well-earned trip to Cadbury World...
HCAT Rocks TTRS competition!
COMING UP NEXT HALF TERM
BYC are touring to perform at the Edinburgh fringe. Sadly, they know that many of their members can not afford to go and they need help.
They hope to take over 170 children to Edinburgh, 12 of those attend HCAT primary schools. The cost covers travel, accommodation, food, venue and insurance. As a trust we are committed to supporting BYC in ensuring they do go and that there isn’t a barrier for them.
Through our sponsored event we raised £218.96. thank you everyone.
