Coffee huts, or kiosks, in the Pacific Northwest of the United States has long been a best-kept secret.
They can be found just about anywhere. From the side of the highway to a car wash parking lot.
That aforementioned parking lot is right where people will find Java Dog Espresso of Wenatchee, Washington.
Like many other coffee huts, Java Dog is locally owned and operated.
And, according to the owner, they're the best cup of coffee in town.
The ever-so-long line on either side would agree with that statement.
These coffee shops hold important significance in states where leaving the car requires far more effort with a constant drizzle of rain.
They allow people to maintain their comfort while also interacting with characters of all kind.
Whatever their reason for existing, coffee huts are integral members of the PNW community.
Thank goodness, and coffee, for that.
