Who is Davy Fresh?
Davy Fresh is an Alexandria, VA raised and Washington, DC based hip-hop recording artist/producer who managed to generate over +20 Million streams independently with the release of albums from 2012 till present. He got his start in music in the mixtape and blog era in the late 2000's. He dropped his first album, “The Wake & Bake Album” in 2012 and “Cloud 420” in 2013 under his newly formed independent imprint, Fresh Kids Music Group.
By Davy’s 2017 LP, “Every Dark Night...”, he released an album the garnered positive feedback and gain the attention of Tommy Boy Records where they collaborated on multiple singles including “JAY Z” which was featured on their Heat Beaneath The Street series and subdivision while hitting #18 on iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap charts.
In 2021 Davy Fresh signed a distribution partnership with Dallas Austin’s Dallas Austin Distribution company (DAD). Davy was key to starting the company as a flagship artist when they released his commercial debut album, “The Christening”. The album was featured on Apple Music’s January 2022 New Hip-Hop/Rap Releases. He followed that with 2023’s “Richmond Highway” and his most recent, 2024’s “You Deserve Your Flowers”.

Still Diggin: mini doc
Davy Fresh was invited to record at the legendary DITC studios in New York to work on music with Legendary producer Show from Showbiz & AG and Wallie World from Show & AG’s 1995 LP, “Goodfellas”. He shot a mini doc with LaMelle Robinson of the recording process.
