Series History: The Lutes and Pios have met 81 times with PLU owning a 50-30 edge in the series. The two teams last met on Dec. 3 in Portland with the host Pios prevailing 64-58.

About the Lutes: Pacific Lutheran (4-10, 1-6 NWC) topped Whitworth 66-64 on Jan. 15 courtesy of a Stacie Spahr putback in the waining seconds but have come up empty since, dropping games against Puget Sound (70-58) and George Fox (71-47).

Against George Fox on Tuesday, a Katy Cook layup cut the deficit to just seven points midway through the third quarter but the Bruins proved to be too much to handle down the stretch, pulling away in the fourth to secure the win.

Josie Napoli had nine points and nine assists in the game while Jaida Wood, Ava Edmonds, and Kasidy Javernick all scoring eight points.

About the Pioneers: Lewis & Clark (8-9, 3-5 NWC) looks to also snap a two-game slide. The Pios topped Whitworth 55-50 on Jan. 21 before dropping games against Whitman (69-46) and Willamette (61-29).

L&C has three players averaging double figure scoring with Deisie Johnson leading the way with a 13.8 points per game average in addition to grabbing 9.0 rebounds per game. Eva Richards adds 12.9 ppg with Peyton Romo contributing 11.0 ppg.
