- His painted out of present day Netherlands, where he created The Procession To Calvary
- He went on to have two kids who continued on his legacy, Pieter the Younger, and Jan.

- He was born in Rotterdam and both his parents were killed by the plague.
- Erasmus created educational writings that helped replace the old curriculum of literature.
