What a fantastic day we have had today. The children in KS2 enjoyed a wonderful experience watching the ABC Opera at the Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl this morning. I must say I was extremely proud of the children as their behaviour was superb.
In school, the children have really enjoyed the egg roll today and the fun activities we have had in school.
After Easter the staffing structure is going to change slightly. I am delighted to announce that Mr Daniel Volausek will join the Senior Leadership Team as ALNCO, taking over from Mrs Kehoe, who will remain as Deputy Head and will now assume responsibility for leading the design and creation of our new Curriculum.
As I wrote in my letter yesterday, this has been a very challenging term. I am hoping that after Easter everything will settle down and we can continue in our wish that normal school activities can resume such as inviting parents into school and holding class assemblies. As soon as I have the updated guidance I will inform you of any changes. I believe the next COVID update by Mr Drakeford is on 14th April.
Please have a very restful Easter break and enjoy spending quality time with family, friends and loved ones and we look forward to welcoming you back to school on Monday 25th April.
