Y2: New learners for Term 3 - Welcome back to the final term as we welcome new friends to our class! Cody, Michelle, Xiaoyi and Joey have joined us in Year 2 and we are very excited to have them join our caring, knowledgeable and inquiring class!
Y4: Learning about electricity - In our Science learning, Year 4 have been finding out about electricity and how to make a range of electrical circuits. They used wires, bulbs, buzzers, batteries and switches. The children completed an experiment to find out whether different materials are conductors or insulators of electrical current. Our investigations were very much a practical ‘hands on’ experience.
Y7/8: Celebrating Songkran - The Year 7/8 students were able to share some of the cultural traditions and dances of Thailand during our wonderful Songkran celebration at the end of Term 2. Now, we have arrived at our third and final term of the school year. This will be a busy but rewarding term for students as they continue to develop in their skills and knowledge.

Student success: Okin in Year 4

Okin Kim loves classical ballet and jazz dance. Recently, she participated in a dance competition organised by the Australian Teachers of Dancing at the Aksara Theatre in Bangkok. Okin was awarded a silver medal. She was only one point away from receiving a gold medal! Congratulations for showing such dedication towards dance.

Thai: Learning about Songkran - In our Thai language and culture classes we have been learning about important Thai traditions that are part of Songkran. Our students made handicrafts from bamboo and then we used their work to decorate the stage for the event. The children were proud of their work for being an important part of the decoration for the event and learnt more about local culture through the activity.
