Sports Day
We will be running our sports day on Monday 12th July. Whilst we won't be able to invite parents to this event we will make sure we take lots of photos and put together a slideshow for you to see.
Outdoor Play and Learning
Our school recognises the value of playtime for children. To acknowledge this, we are embarking on a programme called OPAL ‘Outdoor Play and Learning’ and over the next 18 months will be looking to develop both our outdoor space and the play opportunities we offer. As part of the consultation process for this we will be listening to all those involved; children, teachers, parents and our Governing body.
In order to help us, we would like to understand what you think of your children’s school playtimes, find out a little bit about your own play experiences as a child and listen to any ideas you may have for improving play at our school.

The Summer Reading Challenge at Chippenham library begins this Saturday! They have created a video to explain.....
How the Challenge will work in Wiltshire libraries this year
• The challenge will run from Sat 10 July to Sat 4 Sept.
• Children will sign up at the library and receive a set of materials (poster and stickers), with information for parents about giving out the stickers.
• When children have completed the challenge they will collect their certificate and medal from the library and talk to staff about their experience.
• In addition, libraries will also be running the ‘Climate action footprint challenge’ - a fun activity with an environmental theme, with prizes for some lucky participants.
