I chose Gilda’s Club because of the connections I and
my family have to the community organization and the impact it has had on so many people affected by cancer. Since 1995, this organization has worked to provide social and emotional support to individuals, and their friends and families who have been affected by any type of cancer. My design represents the iconic red door and an icon of Gilda herself in a picture frame, symbolizing her club. The design displays the love that is offered within the community and welcomes anyone with an open door.
