The team started off on a roll with many emphatic wins including a 5-0 victory against Browning in front of a huge home crowd.
Hackley made the playoffs as the 6th seed and faced Trinity in the first round. Hackley won 2-1 off a game winner from JT Goswami('23).
The goal from junior JT Goswami('23) put the team up 2-1 in the closing minutes of an intense first round match.
Hackley defeated Collegiate in the semi-finals 3-1 to advance to the finals.
The Hornets season came to an unfortunate end with a heartbreaking loss to Master 2-1 at Manhattenville College. Hackley's lone goal came from striker Dan Paridis('23).
The team was one of the most successful in recent school history being one of only three Hackley Boys Soccer teams to make the NYSAIS finals in the past 25 years. Striker and junior Dan Paridis('23) was nominated for Lohud Sports Soccer Player of the week and received the 4th most amount of votes.
