- What are you doing this summer? Eight TAMIU students recently attended the University of Texas Medical Branch Innovation in Life Sciences Summer Camp in Galveston. Find out more about their experience.
- If you’re heading outdoors during peak heat periods, please stay hydrated and apply sunscreen regularly. Light-colored, loose-fitting clothing and hats provide additional protection during this record-breaking heatwave.
Registration for Fall 2023 is underway. The Fall Semester begins Monday, Aug. 28.
- Tuition and fees remain frozen for the third year in a row, helping you to save on your degree. Here’s the details.
- Have you or someone you know had to delay your degree completion? Our “Closer Than Ever” program helps former students return to the University to complete their degrees. There are new scholarship opportunities that can assist students in their comeback story. Programs and emergency grants are also available for those experiencing financial hardship, housing and food insecurity, medical expenses, and lack of educational support/supplies. Here’s more on the program.
- Did you or anyone you know participate in a Reading the Globe program over the past 15 years? We’re about to celebrate the program’s 15th Anniversary and we’d like to hear from our RTG alums about their experience. Find out more.
- Free COVID-19 Testing Kits can be secured at the offices of Student Health, and in lobby/reception areas in Environmental Health and Safety (inside our Physical Plant) and the University Police Department.
Keep Cool Dustdevils!
