Description of the Club
Founded in 1893, Montclair Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in the nation. As we enter our 130th historic year, Montclair Golf Club is proudly recognized as a Platinum Club of America and one of the top one hundred Country Clubs nationally. Montclair Golf Club has also received the prestigious Distinguished Emerald Club of the World award. Legendary golf course architects Donald Ross (nines 1, 2 & 3) and Charles Banks (fourth nine) designed our exclusively unique four, nine-hole layout with each nine starting and returning to the main clubhouse. This set-up allows us to maintain a no tee-time policy and is instrumental in keeping our pace of play. Montclair Golf Club is proud to be one of the few clubs that have hosted both the Men’s and Women’s U.S. Amateur championships. The facilities at Montclair Golf Club have undergone a remarkable transformation in the last few years. We finished the first full season with our state-of-the-art aquatics, bar, and dining facility. Our members are also enjoying six new Har-Tru tennis courts, a new five-court paddle tennis facility, a new paddle hut along with four pickleball courts.
