2022. THIS is the year.
2021 was supposed to be the year we got back on our feet. But like 2020, it brought more uncertainty. The Delta variant took us away from our loved ones and caused strain on our healthcare workers. The United Auto Workers strike against Deere & Co. was the first since 1986 and affected more than 10,000 Deere employees in Iowa, Illinois and Kansas.
But in the midst of those things, we still found gratitude. Stimulus money from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 helped us stay on top of bills and in some cases pay down debt and help us buy new homes. We got together with family and friends, just on smaller scales.
As a credit union, we accomplished our System Upgrade so we can serve you, our members, more efficiently and provide better products and opportunities in the future.
A message to our members from President & CEO, Brian Laufenberg:
We hope you’re entering 2022 with the same optimism we are. Whether your New Year’s resolution (because we know everyone has one in some way, shape or form) is to get back to the gym, finally get that promotion or set your family up for future financial success, we’re cheering for you.
