Plains Mennonite Church recognizes that all children need opportunities for socialization and time outdoors, as well as physical exercise, motor skill development and cardiovascular endurance.
In seeking to live as faithful followers of Christ, we are called to love our neighbors and are committed to sharing God’s love and resources in the local community.
Creating a Playground for All at Plains Park is one way that Plains Mennonite Church is responding to the needs of families in our community.
We need your help!
We have raised 75% of the $105,000 needed to fund this project, but we will need our community's partnership as we complete this important project. Here are three opportunities to help:
- Make a financial contribution. Every gift will help us raise the final amount needed!
- Invite friends to a "Playtime for All" fundraising gathering at a local playground. Share why this project is important to you and invite them to join you in contributing to this community effort.
- Help spread the word! Share our brochure (available at Plains Park) with others who you think will value this project!
